A precious age for a child, along with family members, is the first year of their lives. In the infant room, we strive on providing a warm environment that is as close to home as possible. Care, affection and communication are our key elements we use to adhere to every individual need.
Hi, i'm Miss Crystal! I have been working in childcare since around 2000. I got my assistant and lead teaching certificates in high school and then went to MATC for my infant/toddler certification. I started at a center on the East side of Madison which is where I met Miss Jesse, Miss Nicki, Miss Heather and Miss Melissa! I work with Miss Barb in the infant room. Our sons are great friends and so are we! I I have 2 children, Blake and Ashlynn. I have been married to their father since 2004. Our family loves to hike, go fishing and we also love to bowl. In fact, we are each on a league! I love my job, the amazing families and the amazing teachers that I get to work with. I couldn't see myself doing anything else!
Hi, I am Miss Barb. I am the lead teacher in the Inchworm room and work with Miss Crystal. I have been working in childcare for over 20 years. I got my assistant teacher and lead teacher certification while I was in high school. I went to MATC to attain my infant/toddler certification. I got my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Upper Iowa University in 2005. I took a break for a little while then wanted to go back to school so I did and got my Masters in Psychology with a specialization in Child and Adolescent Development from Capella in 2015. I came to Little Pilgrims because I knew Miss Jesse and Miss Crystal. I cared for Miss Jesse’s son at another center and my son and Miss Crystal’s son are friends. They have been friends since kindergarten! I have 3 kids named Lesley, Alan and Cassandra. I also love animals and have a cat and a fish. I love bowling and watching football and baseball. I’m a huge Bears and Cubs fan! I also play bells at my church.
